Barrabás
es un grupo musical de España creado en 1971 de la mano de Fernando
Arbex, quien tras la disolución de Los Brincos quiso formar un grupo en
el que se combinase la riqueza instrumental de las formaciones
sinfónicas con los ritmos y percusiones latinas, así como con el funk,
al igual que estaban haciendo otras formaciones como Santana, Mandrill u
Osibisa.
Arbex creó Barrabás tras la separación de su efímera banda Alacrán, junto al bajista y vocalista de la misma, Iñaky Egaña.
Arbex
se limitó a la composición de canciones y a la producción y sólo
tocaría la batería en la grabación del primer disco, conocido como
"Barrabas, Música caliente" (1971) por ser el subtítulo de la cubierta
posterior.
Arbex nunca tocó la batería en vivo con el grupo, siendo el batería titular desde sus comienzos, José María Moll.

"On The Road Again" (En la ruta de nuevo) es uno de los grandes éxitos de la banda española de música disco y funk Barrabás. El tema fue lanzado originalmente en el año 1981 como parte de su álbum de estudio titulado "Piel de Barrabás".
Esta canción marcó una etapa clave para el grupo fundado por Fernando Arbex, consolidando su característico sonido que mezclaba ritmos latinos, rock, funk y elementos electrónicos adaptados a las pistas de baile de la época.

La canción destaca por su ritmo enérgico, una línea de bajo muy marcada y sintetizadores potentes. La estructura de sus versos es repetitiva y directa, ideal para las discotecas de los años 80.
