"Don't Play That Song (You Lied)"
Fue grabada por primera vez por King y fue la canción principal de su tercer álbum "Don't Play That Song!" (1962). La canción alcanzó el número 2 en la lista de sencillos de R&B de EE. UU. y el número 11 en la lista de pop cuando se lanzó como sencillo en Atco Records en 1962. En Europa, ocupó el puesto 10 en Italia en las listas nacionales FIMI entre 1962 y 1963.
Aretha Franklin hizo una versión de la canción para su decimonoveno álbum de estudio, "Spirit in the Dark", lanzado en Atlantic Records en 1970. Su versión, interpretada con Dixie Flyers, fue lanzada como sencillo en 1970 y alcanzó el puesto número 1 durante cinco semanas en el R&B. lista de singles y número 11 en la lista pop. La versión de Franklin fue certificada como oro con ventas de más de un millón de copias. Alcanzó el número 13 en la lista de singles del Reino Unido.
